Watch All That Remains’ first video after founding guitarist’s death

Jason Richardson has taken over from the late Oli Herbert.

Oli Herbert, founding guitarist of All That Remains, died unexpectedly last October. Now, the metalcore outfit have released their first music video since his passing, for the song “Everything’s Wrong,” from their album Victim of the New Disease.

The video follows a protagonist wallowing in regret while witnessing his ex’s wedding to another man. The band provide the entertainment for the night, with Jason Richardson playing Herbert’s parts.

The scenario in the video can be read as somewhat of an emotional analogue for the impact of Herbert’s untimely passing. “The video really captures the song’s meaning of how when something slips away it can seem like the whole world has crashed down around you,” vocalist Phil Labonte told Revolver Magazine. “Things that used to make sense no longer do.”
