There’s plenty of cross-pollination and collaboration in the metal world, but here’s a new project that stands out from the pack: The Three Tremors, a supergroup of heavy metal vocalists who will put out their full-length debut next January.
The three screamers boast formidable resumes: Tim “Ripper” Owens has sung for Judas Priest, Dio Disciples and Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force; Harry “The Tyrant” Conklin for Jag Panzer, Satan’s Host and Titan Force; and Sean “The Hell Destroyer” Peck for Cage and Death Dealer.
Among them, The Three Tremors have more than enough range to tackle a spectrum of styles—which is what they did for this album, covering thrash to speed to classic heavy metal.
All three musicians sing on every song of the 12-track release. And as for the music, they kept it in the family: Peck got his other band Cage on board. “You can have great singers and whatever, but if the songs aren’t any good, it doesn’t mean shit,” he said in an interview with The Metal Voice. “At first, I was thinking I would get all kinds of different people from bands and friends I had, then I decided to keep it in the Cage camp because we’re really good at crafting songs together.”
The Three Tremors’ self-titled debut album will be out January 18. To pre-order special goodies like shirts, patches and merch bundles, head to their Pledge Music page here.
