UK metallic hardcore band Cruelty release “Mine”

Their debut album ‘There is No God Where I Am’ is out next month.

Rising UK metallic hardcore outfit Cruelty have shared “Mine,” the second single from their upcoming debut album There is No God Where I Am.

Following on from their previous single “A Lie That Makes Life Bearable,” the blistering new track revels in chaotic energy, fueled by visceral riffs and pummelling breakdowns.

“The song is about an attempt to recall better days in a relationship,” Cruelty told No Echo. “The protagonist has lost sight of all that once made the relationship work and has become a slave to desire.”

There is No God Where I Am will be Cruelty’s first major release since 2019’s In the Grasp of the Machines EP, which the group supported on tour with Renounced, Higher Power and Employed to Serve. Cruelty will be joined on their debut full-length by guest vocalists from Mantlet, Mourning and more.

There is No God Where I Am will arrive on April 30 via Church Road Records. Listen to “Mine” below:
