Sons of Slash, Robert Trujillo, Scott Weiland form new band

The sons of Slash, Robert Trujillo and Scott Weiland, have dropped their first single “Long Awaited” as new hard rock outfit, Suspect208.

The quartet comprises vocalist Noah Weiland (the 20-year-old son of the late Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver), drummer London Hudson (the 18-year-old son of Slash), bassist Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo)—and guitarist Niko Tsangaris.

Though Tsangaris doesn’t appear to be the son of a famous rocker, MetalSucks suspects his father might be a current or former co-manager of Slash and/or Velvet Revolver. He also co-founded the band Classless Act with Hudson in 2016.

Suspect208’s riffy debut single is apparently just the tip of the iceberg for the band—as Hudson posted on Instagram, “we got way more coming. Stay posted.”
