Pallbearer release new song, “Atlantis”

Along with a live version of “Thorns.”

A new Pallbearer song, “Atlantis,” is out in the world.

The mighty track arrived as the July installment of Sub Pop Records’ monthly Singles Club. Its B-side is a live version of “Thorns,” from the doom band’s most recent record, Heartless.

“As many of you probably know by now, Pallbearer has always been very ‘album-oriented’—when we are writing music, it’s often with the big picture in mind,” the band wrote on Instagram. “However, we also thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to release pieces that might not necessarily fit into a larger album. We’re very excited to finally be able to share another piece of new material with you.”

This release ought to tide Pallbearer fans over as the band dive into the big picture again for their next album. Stream “Atlantis” and the live version of “Thorns” below:
