Nazareth announce upcoming 50th anniversary LP

The metal pioneers have dropped “Pole to Pole,” a track that takes us all back to the ’70s.

Metal icons Nazareth have announced details of their upcoming LP, Tattooed on My Brain, in celebration of their 50th anniversary. Yes, that’s 50 whole years they’ve been around.

The studio album, which is set for an October 12 release, marks their first LP since 2014’s Rock ’n’ Roll Telephone. And it also marks the debut record of the Scottish band’s new frontman, Carl Sentance.

To get us all hyped up, the rockers have dropped a taster of the record, “Pole to Pole.” The track is an upbeat, punk-driven groove, reminiscent of the good ol’ days of rock ’n’ roll. It’s colored with snappy bass riffs, chugging guitars and a glorious solo that AC/DC would be proud of.
