Malevolent Creation drop “Release the Soul” MV

From ‘The 13th Beast,’ which was out last week.

Malevolent Creation have dropped the music video for “Release the Soul,” the closing track of their new album, The 13th Beast.

The black-and-white clip cuts between band members at a dizzying pace befitting founding guitarist Phil Fasciana’s relentless shredding. There are also ominous shots of a man being soaked in what looks like blood.

Released last week, The 13th Beast is the death metal pioneers’ first album since the death of original vocalist Bret Hoffmann last year. He was succeeded by Lee Wollenschlaeger (also a member of Throne of Nails and Imperial Empire).
