After 12 long years, King Diamond are finally dropping a follow-up to their 2007 album, Give Me Your Soul… Please

Titled The Institute, King Diamond’s upcoming record is due for a 2020 release with the project’s lead single arriving sometime later this year. “For reasons unknown to you, it is clear that you have no way of making it to The Institute on your own at this point. Therefore, we will bring The Institute to you,” the band said in a statement. “You don’t want to miss this special opportunity for treatment only we can give you. It could be for your own good, you know.”

The band also announced details of their upcoming North American tour in support of their new LP. Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats and Idle Hands will join the Danish metal outfit on the 23-day trek, which kicks off November 2 in Dallas, Texas.
