Metalcore band Killswitch Engage have unveiled their video for “The Signal Fire,” featuring former lead vocalist Howard Jones.

Jones and current frontman Jesse Leach go head to head in the Ian McFarland-directed clip, which takes place in an open rehearsal space. The duo trade lines, delivering powerful vocals and playing off one another. The visual marks the first time both Leach and Jones have appeared together in an official band video.

“The video is a demonstration of solidarity and unity,” Leach said in a statement. “This is for the fans and this is our testimony to all who see this video. In these times we live in, I believe this is an important message—not just for us as a band and our fans but for all of humanity. This is a call for compassion and understanding. This is strength in unity.”

“The Signal Fire” is a cut from the band’s latest album, Atonement, which also features “I Am Broken Too” and the Chuck Billy-assisted “The Crownless King.”
