Hear Genghis Tron’s trance-inducing new track, “Ritual Circle”

From their comeback album ‘Dream Weapon.’

Genghis Tron have dropped “Ritual Circle,” a new track from their upcoming album Dream Weapon.

The ten-minute track exemplifies the psychedelic new direction the group have headed in for their first record in 13 years, with a new line-up: vocalist Tony Wolski (replacing Mookie Singerman) and Sumac/Baptists drummer Nick Yacyshyn have joined the core duo of guitarist Hamilton Jordan and keyboardist Michael Sochynsky.

“When writing and recording this album, one of our aims was to create a deep sonic world the listener can really get lost in,” Jordan said in a statement. “‘Ritual Circle’ embodies that for me—it still takes me to another place whenever I listen. Find some headphones, turn it up, and zone out.”

“Ritual Circle” and previously released title track “Dream Weapon” will appear on the band’s third record, out March 26 on Relapse Records. Stream the new song below:
