Enter Code Orange’s dystopia in new “Autumn and Carbine” MV

The band confront the gluttonous tyrants of a ruined society.

Code Orange have shared an animated music video for their track “Autumn and Carbine.”

Animated by Code Orange members Eric Balderose and Jami Morgan, the “Autumn and Carbine” visual debuted on Adult Swim’s Toonami over the weekend before arriving online. The clip renders the band as android versions of themselves performing off-planet among aliens subjugated by evil overlords of a tech dystopia. Code Orange ultimately abandon the stage, arming themselves to gun down the gluttonous tyrants in their opulent palace.

“Autumn and Carbine” is a track on Underneath, Code Orange’s fourth studio album released last March. It also included the singles “Swallowing the Rabbit Whole” and “Sulfur Surrounding.”

In July, the group dropped the live, unplugged album Under the Skin, which was recorded at Theatre Factory in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Code Orange performed a range of songs from Underneath and 2017’s Forever, including an arresting cover of Alice in Chain’s “Down in a Hole” midway through the set.
