Dee Snider has dropped a new track that doesn’t just rock you like a hurricane—the Twisted Sister frontman is the storm itself.
“I am the Hurricane” is the first single off For the Love of Metal, which arrives on July 27. Filled with thumping drum beats, heavy-as-hell riffs and Snider’s booming vocals, the tune is a romp by a classic metalhead for classic metalheads.
The album itself is the result of a gauntlet thrown: Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta had challenged Snider to cut a metal album. And he even features on it, alongside ex-Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton and Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz. How’s that for a motley crew?
