Deafheaven, Chelsea Wolfe share moody visual for “Night People”

    One word: spooky.

There are plenty of highlights in Deafheaven’s latest album, Ordinary Corrupt Human Love. But nothing is quite as magical as the metal band’s piano-driven ballad “Night People,” featuring goth rocker Chelsea Wolfe. Now, the standout track has a mesmerizing visual to match.

Directed by Ben Chisolm, the MV features close-ups of Wolfe alongside Deafheaven vocalist George Clarke. But it’s not until halfway in that things begin ramping up. Between cuts of the singers, red and purple images of a man in distress start to flash and shudder. The video ends off with Clarke standing in a dark room before it fades to black. Creepy much?
