Clint Lowery, guitarist of metal outfit Sevendust, has released his solo debut, God Bless the Renegades.

The ten-track record was produced by Michael Baskette, who also worked on Sevendust’s 2018 record, All I See is War. The album also features drums played by Wolfgang Van Halen, who is the son of legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen and actress Valerie Bertinelli.

“I had 30 or 40 ideas and frameworks for songs,” Lowery told Digital Journal. “I brought a lot of those to the table to [Baskette], my producer. We went through all of those songs and we tried to figure out which songs best represented the material that I wanted to put out as my first solo release.”
