Cadaver return with “Circle of Morbidity”

Founding member Anders Odden has resurrected the band with Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren.

Norwegian death metallers Cadaver have returned from a 15-year hiatus with a new song, “Circle of Morbidity.”

The track showcases the band’s current line-up of founding member Anders Odden (also of Satyricon) and drummer Dirk Verbeuren (also of Megadeth), and features guest vocals by Jeff Becerra of Possessed.

Originally founded by Odden and Ole Bjerkebakke in 1988, Cadaver released Hallucinating Anxiety in 1990 and … In Pains in 1992 before calling it a day in 1993. Odden resurrected the band as the four-piece Cadaver Inc in 2001, and they released two more albums before their dissolution in 2004.

Cadaver also made their live comeback last week at Inferno Metal Festival in Norway, and an official band statement notes that their new album will be titled Edder & Bile.
