A Day to Remember have officially announced their new album You’re Welcome with the release of the track “Brick Wall.”
The new single delivers A Day to Remember’s trademark massive choruses, after softly rendered verses of spacey acoustic guitars and contrastingly frantic drumbeats. “Brick Wall” will appear on You’re Welcome alongside the band’s recent tracks “Degenerates,” “Resentment” and “Mindreader.”
Produced by vocalist Jeremy McKinnon and Colin Brittain, it’s the band’s seventh studio album and the follow-up to 2016’s Bad Vibrations, as well as their first release on the label Fueled by Ramen.
“There’s a lot of detail in everything we do from the mixes to the artwork, because it all tells a story,” McKinnon said of the meticulous process of making You’re Welcome. “So, we made sure each element was perfect. Every line happens for a reason. We took what we envision modern music to be and made a hybrid of who we were, who we are, and who we want to be. It took a lot of maneuvering to get it right, but we feel like we did. We’re here now and very happy to present You’re Welcome.”
You’re Welcome will drop on March 5 via Fueled by Ramen. Listen to “Brick Wall” here:
