Watch Robert Glasper perform “This Changes Everything” with Denzel Curry

A cut off Glasper’s ‘Fuck Yo Feelings’ mixtape.

Robert Glasper recently joined forces with rapper Denzel Curry to perform “This Changes Everything,” their collaboration from Glasper’s Fuck Yo Feelings mixtape.

Backed by Glasper and his band, Curry brings his A-game to the performance, which was filmed at the Harun Cafe in Los Angeles’ Leimert Park and directed by Laura Wassern. Rapper Buddy, Terrace Martin and The Roots’ James Poyser, who were on the original studio version of “This Changes Everything,” don’t make appearances.

Glasper released Fuck Yo Feelings in October 2019. It was recorded over the course of two days in the studio, and featured artists and musicians who streamed through to collaborate and improvise. Other guests on the record include Bilal, Herbie Hancock, Yasiin Bey, Mick Jenkins, Rapsody, Cordae, SiR and Baby Rose.

More recently, Glasper formed the supergroup Dinner Party with Martin, Kamasi Washington and 9th Wonder. Together, they released their eponymous debut in July. Glasper also collaborated with HER and Meshell Mdegeocello on “Better Than I Imagined.”

Curry, on the other hand, recently dropped the song “Live From the Abyss,” and collaborated with Saba and The Avalanches. Earlier this year, he dropped a joint album Unlocked with producer Kenny Beats. His last solo record was 2019’s ZUU.
