The Comet is Coming’s “Unity” video is brief but intriguing

The band’s second LP is due out this month.

London-based jazz trio The Comet is Coming have revealed a short clip for new single “Unity.”

The video, which is just over a minute long, is more like a promotional video than a full-length MV. Fuzzy text scrolls across the bottom of the screen as drummer Betamax Killer makes his appearance. As he engages playback of the groovy track on a reel-to-reel tape machine, trippy clips of sound waves and pyramids start to play.

“Unity” is the second single from The Comet is Coming’s forthcoming sophomore album Trust in the Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery, due out on March 15 via Impulse!.
