Oscar Hernández and Alma Libre release ‘Love the Moment’

Fresh Latin jazz compositions.

Pianist and composer Oscar Hernández has released Love the Moment, a brand-new album with his group Alma Libre.

Hernández is perhaps best known for leading the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, a 13-piece salsa big band. With Alma Libre—comprising Justo Almario on saxophone and flute, Oskar Cartaya on bass, Jimmy Branly on drums and Christian Moraga on percussion—he presents a more intimate set of Latin jazz compositions.

Love the Moment comes two years after Hernández’s last album, The Art of Latin Jazz. Stream his latest record below:
