Kiefer keeps up musical momentum with the ‘Bridges’ EP

His third release in as many years.

Last Friday, pianist and producer Kiefer released a new six-track EP, Bridges.

The 17-minute release follows his 2018 LP Happysad and his 2017 debut Kickinit Alone, keeping up his recent musical momentum. It also finds the Stones Throw artist welcoming analog synths into his sound and focusing more on arrangements compared to his previous two projects, which were more akin to hip hop beat tapes. “My dad always told me any time you work on something, make it better than last time,” he said in a statement. “I want to approach things in a new and updated way.”
