Jim Hart, Ivo Neame share new song, “Transference”

Their new album, ‘Multiverse,’ arrives next year.

Multi-instrumentalist Jim Hart and pianist Ivo Neame have announced Multiverse, their new album as a duo that’s been two and a half years in the making. To introduce their new studio effort, the pair have shared the single “Transference.”

The vibrant track dropped alongside a music video which captures the pair as they recorded the song. The clip also features commentary from the two musicians about their longstanding collaborative relationship.

“You don’t take as many risks because you don’t really know that player and what their strengths and weaknesses are, and how to make the best music together,” Neame said in the video. “Whereas, if you know somebody really well, you know their musical personality really well, so you can take more risk and you know that you’ll catch each other when they fall.”

The duo, who have worked on a myriad of releases over the past 15 years, are set to release Multiverse on February 21, 2020 via Edition Records. Watch the video for “Transference” below:
