Jacob Collier shares Daniel Caesar collab, “Time Alone With You”

British multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier has enlisted Toronto singer Daniel Caesar for his new single, “Time Alone With You.”

On the track, Caesar delivers velvety vocals over Collier’s groovy production of bluesy guitar licks and soulful horns. “All night, starbright, shines down on me / It’s all good, it’s alright, you’re all I see / At times, we may find our hearts grow heavy / It’s all good, it’s alright, you’re all I need,” he sings on the chorus. The track also features backing vocals from JoJo, who previously contributed vocals to Collier’s song, “It Don’t Matter.”

“Time Alone With You” is a taste of Collier’s forthcoming third studio album, Djesse Vol 3. Collier recently received two Grammy nominations for “Moon River” and “All Night Long,” tracks from Djesse Vol 2 and Vol 1, respectively.

Djesse Vol 3 arrives in Spring 2020. In the meantime, listen to “Time Alone With You” here:
