Pianist and composer Rick Simpson has released Everything All of the Time: Kid A Revisited, an album-length rework of the titular Radiohead album that turns 20 this year.
The album, which was teased with “Everything in its Right Place” in September, is Simpson’s first full-length release since his 2016 album Klammer. He recorded the album with James Allsopp (baritone saxophone), Tori Freestone (tenor saxophone), Dave Whitford (double bass) and Will Glaser (drums)—the same line-up that debuted Simpson’s Kid A arrangements live in London in February 2019.
That same year, Simpson followed up with concerts centered on reworks of other Radiohead albums Amnesiac and In Rainbows. Will those get album releases, too? While you wait for more details, stream the reworked Kid A album below:
