Cory Henry drops “Don’t Forget” from ‘Something to Say’ album

The former Snarky Puppy member has also announced a Halloween livestream.

Cory Henry has shared the new single “Don’t Forget” and announced a livestream performance for Halloween.

“Don’t Forget,” a sunny funk track with an hopeful message, joins previous singles “Happy Days” and “Rise” on the tracklist of the former Snarky Puppy member’s upcoming LP, Something to Say. It comes two years after his last album, Art of Love, which he recorded with the Funk Apostles.

“I feel good because all of the songs came together and they mean something to me,” Henry said of the record in a statement, “so I hope they mean something to other people.”


Henry will launch Something to Say, which drops October 30, with a livestream show the following day. Recorded at Apogee Studios, Henry’s performance will be his first alongside the Funk Apostles since the band was forced off the road in February by the COVID-19 pandemic. Tickets are available via Henry’s website for $10 while a digital meet-and-greet is priced at $50.
