Zack de la Rocha remixes OutKast’s “BOB (Bombs Over Baghdad)”

The duo will reissue their album ‘Stankonia’ later this month.

OutKast has shared a rock ’n’ roll version of “BOB (Bombs Over Baghdad),” remixed by Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha.

The remix is set to appear on the Atlanta duo’s forthcoming reissue of their 2000 album Stankonia, which featured the original version of the track. In a press statement, OutKast’s Big Boi said that “Zack added an extra layer of grunge to a masterpiece.”

“I’m a fan of the Rage sound so it was an honor to have them involved in a remix,” André 3000 added.

“BOB. (Bombs Over Baghdad)” is one of several OutKast classics that are getting revamped for the Stankonia reissue. Remixes of “Ms Jackson” and “So Fresh, So Clean” will also appear on the release, alongside instrumental and a cappella versions.

The reissue of Stankonia is in celebration of the iconic album’s 20th anniversary, and is due out on October 30. While you wait, listen to the remix of “BOB (Bombs Over Baghdad)” below:
