Yung Lean releases dramatic video for “Happy Feet”

A cut from his forthcoming mixtape, ‘Poison Ivy.’

Swedish rapper Yung Lean has just announced a new mixtape, Poison Ivy, with a video for the project’s first single, “Happy Feet.”

Directed by Lean alongside Marcus Söderlund, the clip follows the rapper and his Sad Boys crew as they take over an abandoned trailer park, sitting around with blank expressions. Safe to say there’s nothing very “happy” about the whole affair. As the sun starts to set, the gang hop on a pick-up truck and set off with axes in hand.

The song itself is just as bizarre. Produced by frequent collaborator White Armor, the track features an ominous beat and reuses a line from Lean’s verse on Sucideyear’s “Spider Feet,” a collaboration he put out earlier in May. “Spiders on my feet but you be caught up in the web,” Lean raps on the opening.
