Yung Lean drops new EP, ‘Total Eclipse’

The latest release from the sad Swedish rapper.

Yung Lean has just dropped his new two-track EP, Total Eclipse.

The Swedish rapper journeys back into his cloud-rap roots on the short project. With a total runtime of less than four minutes, the EP features the Whitearmor-produced “2 Cups” and “Smirnoff Ice,” produced by RipSquad.

Over the ethereal trap-influenced beat of “2 Cups,” Lean is in his element, rapping offhandedly about his drug use and how “I don’t pay none, I feel like I’m the Pope.” In the bass-heavy “Smirnoff Ice,” he reminisces about his rebellious past and the carefree adventures he had: “Running round the beach, and I feel like David Hasselhoff.”
