YoungBoy Never Broke Again involved in Miami shooting

Authorities confirmed one death on the scene.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again was reportedly involved in a shooting outside Miami’s Trump International Beach Resort on Sunday afternoon which left one person dead, TMZ reported.

The rapper, who was scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Festival that evening, had been inside a vehicle near his hotel when shooters opened fire at him and his crew. According to eyewitnesses, YoungBoy managed to emerge unhurt, though his girlfriend and two other people suffered gunshot wounds. One man was pronounced dead on the scene, police confirmed.

While details of the shooting remain uncertain, several reports claim that the rapper’s bodyguard allegedly killed one of the shooters. The authorities are currently on the lookout for three suspects “armed with an AK-47 and several handguns,” a local news outlet reports. YoungBoy’s involvement in the shooting has yet to be confirmed as the story develops.

The Louisiana emcee wasn’t the only rapper who faced trouble over the Rolling Loud weekend. Lil Wayne canceled his set after refusing to undergo police checks, while Kodak Black was arrested on firearm charges at the festival venue.
