Young MA confronts relationship problems in “Numb/Bipolar” MV

The latest visual from ‘Herstory in the Making.’

Young MA has unveiled a video for two Herstory in the Making songs: “Numb” and “Bipolar.”

Directed by Marc Diamond, the five-minute clip chronicles the Brooklyn emcee’s crumbling love life, which turns from bad to worse when her partner confronts the rapper about her alcoholism. They fight and yell but eventually make up before the cycle repeats itself, and the couple forever stuck in a never-ending loop of a toxic relationship. “Yeah, fuck love, fuck love / I don’t wanna love, I don’t wanna love / I just wanna take these drugs / Take these drugs and go numb,” Young MA raps solemnly over the trap beat.

“Numb/Bipolar” is the latest visual from Young MA’s debut LP, Herstory in the Making, which arrived last September. She had previously released music videos for album cuts “My Hitta” and “PettyWap 2.”
