Young Dolph releases new record, ‘Rich Slave’

Young Dolph has returned with a brand-new album, Rich Slave.

The 16-track record features collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, Key Glock and G Herbo. Speaking with Complex, the Memphis rapper explained that the album’s title and what it says about racism in America.

“It’s the reality of being Black in this country. You can have money, and you can be a benefactor and a leader in your community, but all people see is Black skin,” Dolph said. “Hopefully, this album makes people understand that even though guys like me are doing well, we’re still affected by racism and inequality. It’s 2020, but the same stuff is still going on.”

Along with the album, Dolph has also shared a twerk-heavy video for album cut, “What’s Da Bizness.” In the NSFW clip, Dolph raps about his riches while surrounded by dancing women.

“All this Gucci on me like I make this shit / Full-blown millionaire, but still might take your shit / Send my l’il n***as through there and tell ’em erase your shit / All I need is Franklins, fuck a relationship,” he spits.
