YBN Cordae asks “What’s Life” on new track

The rising talent looks back on his busy year.

YBN Cordae ended 2018 on a reflective note, looking back on his life and contemplating the future on the new track, “What’s Life.”

The stripped-back song features Cordae rapping over jazzy horns, a piano and soulful backing vocals. The YBN crew member contemplates the meaning of life, thinking about what truly matters: “What is life without love? What’s life without dreams? / What’s life without goals? Everything ain’t what it seems / What’s life without friends who remain genuine?”

The up-and-coming rapper recently scored an appearance on the soundtrack for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, following a string of strong singles earlier in 2018.
