YBN Cordae, Anderson .Paak link up for “RNP”

It’s produced by J Cole.

In the lead-up to the release of his debut album The Lost Boy, YBN Cordae has shared yet another preview of the LP: “RNP” featuring Anderson .Paak.

“RNP,” an abbreviation for “Rich N***a Problems,” is a playful, self-congratulatory track produced by J Cole. Cordae and .Paak trade smug bars effortlessly over the Dreamville emcee’s bouncy, bass-driven production. “I got two bad bitches gon’ be rubbin’ my feet / I got three young n***as down to bust out the heat / And all y’all ain’t got nothin’ on me,” the Ventura rapper smirks on the hook.

“I was telling my dad about industry and rapper problems, [and] he said to me, ‘Yo bro, you’re still living your dream. You make music for a living. These sound like rich n***as problems to me.’ He put everything in perspective, so I wrote a song about it,” Cordae said of the track in a press statement.

The Lost Boy, which includes previously released singles “Have Mercy” and the Chance the Rapper-assisted “Bad Idea,” will also feature appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Pusha T, Meek Mill and Arin Ray. It drops this Friday.
