Wu-Tang Clan, Young Dirty Bastard perform “Triumph” on ‘Fallon’

A fiery performance of the iconic single.

Earlier this week, the Wu-Tang Clan took The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back to 1997 with a fiery performance of “Triumph.”

The famous, no-chorus Wu-Tang Forever single begins with a rowdy intro by Old Dirty Bastard, which Young Dirty Bastard capably supplied on his late father’s behalf for their Fallon performance. Though GZA wasn’t in attendance, the other original Wu-Tang members still made the most of their late night appearance, nailing their verses and hyping each other up.

The rap legends had swung by Fallon to promote their forthcoming documentary, Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, which will premiere on Showtime next month. While you wait for the doc to arrive, check out the performance of “Triumph” here:
