Wu-Tang Clan, Texas reunite for new song, “Hi”

The collaboration dropped alongside a video starring Kadeem Ramsay.

Wu-Tang Clan and Texas have reunited on a new song called, “Hi.”

It’s the iconic rap group and Scottish rock band’s first collaboration since joining forces in 1998 at the BRIT Awards. Back then, Wu-Tang’s RZA and Method Man had remixed Texas’ “Say What You Want,” and the two groups performed the song together at the awards ceremony.

Now, Texas and Wu-Tang’s RZA and Ghostface Killah have teamed up for “Hi,” which arrives with a video directed by Fenn O’Meally. The clip starts out with archived footage of the groups’ BRIT Awards performance before cutting to Top Boy actor Kadeem Ramsay.

In the visual, Ramsay plays a super-fan who’s kidnapped Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri in the hopes of convincing her to collaborate with Wu-Tang again. Ramsay also gets to chat with RZA, who appears in the clip via FaceTime, before successfully reuniting the pair.

“Hi” arrives ahead of Texas’ upcoming tenth studio album and marks Wu-Tang’s first release since the group’s 2017 record, The Saga Continues. Watch the video for “Hi” below:
