Wiley, Stefflon Don and Sean Paul get “Boasty”

The song also features a cameo from Idris Elba.

Wiley, Stefflon Don and Sean Paul have joined forces with actor Idris Elba to drop their latest collaboration, “Boasty.”

Wiley kicks things off, rhyming his way through the track’s opening hook over a slinky beat: “Boasty, boasty, Godfather, man a OG / Man a half-humble, man are boasty / Fling a ragga riddim like it’s ’03.” Stefflon Don quickly takes over with her own confident verse before calling in Sean Paul for a healthy serving of his signature flow.

But it’s Elba’s appearance towards the song’s conclusion that’ll have you sit up and take notice. The Luther actor has built a solid rep for being as great a DJ as he is an actor, and has landed a performance slot at Coachella 2019. However on “Boasty,” Elba decides to show off his mic skills instead, giving the tune an extra level of swag: “I came to rap it up, do my ting / Shassy put me on the ’Gram enuh, remix ting.”
