Last Friday, Travis Scott unveiled the visual for his Drake-assisted Astroworld track, “Sicko Mode.”
He’s teamed up once again with director Dave Meyers (who previously worked on the “Stop Trying to be God” MV) to produce a five-minute clip that’s quite the visual experience, to say the least. It opens in a hyper-saturated, alternate version of Houston, Texas, bringing La Flame’s album namesake to life.
Like the track, which features plenty of beat switches, the video, swiftly jumps between scenes. One moment Scott’s wandering through the streets on a horse, and the next he’s sitting on a throne surrounded by half-naked women. It’s all very trippy.
