Watch the trailer for Pop Smoke’s second posthumous LP

The late rapper’s upcoming project arrives next month.

A trailer announcing Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album has been released.

The clip, which featured archive footage of the late rapper in studio and performing live, confirms that Smoke’s currently untitled sophomore full-length and follow up to 2020’s Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon is set to arrive on July 16. You can pre-save the album here.

Last week, Pop’s manager, Rico Beats, had shared an update on the album in an Instagram post. “Pop Album 95% loading the f$&k up!!!!” he wrote in the caption.

Pop died in February last year after he was shot dead in a home invasion robbery. Since his passing, the late rapper made posthumous contributions to the Fast and Furious 9 and Boogie soundtracks, the latter of which also featured his acting debut. Music videos for his tracks “AP” and “What You Know Bout Love” were also released posthumously.
