On Saturday, Kanye West appeared on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live to perform three songs, including the as-yet-unreleased track, “We Got Love.” And let’s just say, it was bizarre right off the bat.
Ye kicked off the night with his meme-spawning hit, “I Love it,” with Lil Pump joining him on stage. But instead of the couch-shaped costumes, the duo were dressed as mineral water: Kanye in a Perrier suit and Pump as a Fiji bottle.
Things became less awkward during his second act, when he invited Teyana Taylor to debut their new collab, “We Got Love.” And in his final and third performance, the rapper sported a MAGA hat while performing his Ye standout, “Ghost Town,” alongside Kid Cudi and 070 Shake.
