Watch Jack Harlow’s cozy NPR ‘Tiny Desk’ performance

He performed his breakout hit, “What’s Poppin.”

Jack Harlow is the latest artist to appear on NPR’s famed Tiny Desk series.

Filmed on a cozy set in Los Angeles, Harlow’s performance featured songs from his debut album Thats What They All Say. The Louisville rapper kicked off his set with “Rendezvous,” before jumping into “21C / Delta” and “Funny Seeing You Here.” He also performed a solo version of his Adam Levine-assisted track, “Same Guy.”

Harlow closed out the five-song set with none other than his breakout hit, “What’s Poppin,” which was more robust in sound, thanks to the live band and his backup singers. “What’s poppin’? Brand-new whip, just hopped in,” he rhymed on the addictive chorus.

Harlow follows other hip hop acts who have recently graced Tiny Desk in recent months. They include Australia’s Sampa the Great, Rae Khalil, 2 Chainz and Rick Ross.
