Future’s remake of Superfly finally hits theaters this week, and the hip hop extraordinaire made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform a song off his soundtrack for the film.
The Atlanta rapper hit the stage solo as he took on “Nowhere,” a melancholic, piano-driven tune that acts as the album’s closer. His stage was a stellar display of blue laser lights and fog, which paired perfectly with the song’s hazy beat. Scenes from the original 1972 movie and the reboot were also screened in the background.
The Future-produced soundtrack features the likes of Miguel, Young Thug and PARTYNEXTDOOR. The film opens June 13.
