Flatbush Zombies’ trap anthem “New World Order,” the freshly released follow-up to April’s Vacation in Hell, has been given a video treatment. But if you’re not a fan of violence, look away, because the Johnny Leflare-directed clip gets kinda gnarly.
It goes like this: The Brooklyn hip hop trio arrive at a backyard wrestling match to compete for the title of best fighter. The rappers waste no time as they jump into the ring and begin throwing punches, easily knocking out their rivals. Midway, the clip takes an even more dramatic turn when the Zombies’ producer, Erick the Architect appears with a flamethrower and lights everyone up. “New world order / Everything cozy ’til a n***a call the squad up,” he spits.
“New World Order,” which the group released earlier this week, is set to be a one-off track, according to Rolling Stone. The Zombies have just concluded their European tour in London and will appear at Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw later this month.
