Watch EarthGang’s zany video for “Ready to Die”

The clip references ‘The Shining,’ ‘Pulp Fiction’ and more.

Dreamville duo EarthGang have released a video for their latest loosie, “Ready to Die.”

The pair get into various life-and-death situations in the quirky clip, including being operated on in a makeshift hospital and being stalked by a serial killer. The visual also makes several pop-culture references to films like Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining and Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, as well as the iconic Edvard Munch painting, The Scream. Check out the clip and see if you can catch all the references.

The duo are set to release their Mirrorland LP this Friday. The album will include previously released singles such as “Up,” the Young Thug-assisted “Proud of U” and “Stuck,” featuring Arin Ray. However, “Ready to Die” did not make the record’s tracklist, the duo revealed on Reddit.
