Watch Cordae’s laid-back new video for “Dream in Color”

The rapper’s ‘Just Until…’ cut gets a visual treatment.

Cordae has shared a new video for his song, “Dream in Color.”

In the sun-drenched clip, the 23-year-old rapper hangs out with a group of friends, driving with the top down through palm tree-lined streets and grabbing a bite to eat.

“Rich as hell, won’t stress over nothin’ / I don’t listen to the public opinion / Their portrayal, it is just an assumption,” he sings on the chorus. “And I don’t really know what a n***a been fightin’ for, but I’m fightin’ for it / And every song that I record be savin’ lives, I’m type important.”

On the track, Cordae also brags about his girlfriend, tennis champion Naomi Osaka: “My girl would forfeit a tennis match to meet my grandmama / Man, she truly a keeper.”

“Dream in Color” was one of four tracks on Cordae’s newly released EP, Just Until… The Young Thug and Q-Tip-featuring project arrived last week, serving as a stopgap release for fans eager to hear Cordae’s sophomore album.
