Baby Keem has returned with a video for new song “Hooligan.”
In the clip, beautifully shot by director Jake Schreier, the Top Dawg Entertainment associate solemnly meets the camera’s gaze as the women he’s with nonchalantly rap his bars over a hypnotic, piano-driven beat.
“Hooligan” was accompanied by “Sons & Critics Freestyle,” on which Keem sneers at the mediocrity he observes around him. “It’s a lot of sponge around me / Lot of sons around me, real ones are drowning,” he raps on the chorus. “It’s a lot of funds around me / Rap sons around me, get the fuck from ’round me.”
The two tracks are Keem’s first since dropping his 2019 project Die For My Bitch, which featured the hit song “Orange Soda” and other cuts like “Honest” and “Buss Her Up.”
