Waka Flocka Flame is ready to call it quits

“I did what I came to do. I made past $30 million.”

Now that he’s well and truly “Ballin’ Out,” Waka Flocka Flame is ready to retire from the rap game.

The rapper made the proclamation on a recent episode of BET show Raq Rants, when host Raquel Harper quizzed Waka on when he plans to put an end to his rap career. “I’ve been giving up,” he replied over a plate of mac and cheese, his wife Tammy Rivera by his side.

“Ask my wife! I don’t wanna rap! I did what I came to do. I made past $30 million. Everybody I started with is rich, everybody is happy. Everybody got kids […] My right-hand man that was running the streets with me is a pastor. Life changed for me. People want me to be ‘Hard in da Paint’ Waka, but I’m 32 years old. I’m a grown ass man,” he elaborated.

There’s one thing that he has lined up in his sights in the near future, though: a kid. In the interview, Waka added that he and his wife are planning on having a child in 2019. Watch a snippet of the episode here:
