Vince Staples has released his new self-titled album, the follow-up to his 2018 project FM!.

Like that project, Vince Staples was also produced entirely by Kenny Beats. It features the lead single “Law of Averages,” the mellow opening track “Are You With That?”, released earlier this week, and “Take Me Home,” the only song with a featured artist, Fousheé.

In a statement, Staples said the album “really gives much more information about me that wasn’t out there before. That’s why I went with that title.”

“I feel like I’ve been trying to tell the same story,” he continued. “As you go on in life, your point of view changes. This is another take on myself that I might not have had before.”

During a recent interview with GQ, the 28-year-old revealed Vince Staples is one of two albums he’s been working on. He shared the second LP’s title—Ramona Park Broke My Heart—and said he’s also working on a new Netflix series. So far, no release dates for the second album or show have been announced.
