Tyler, the Creator teases comeback with “Side Street” clips

Plus a mysterious billboard and hotline.

Tyler, the Creator is teasing his comeback with two short videos, both titled “Side Street.”

In these clips, which were shared on his Twitter and YouTube accounts, the rapper makes out with a woman and drives off in a pink car. The woman’s boyfriend shows up shortly after and asks her “Baby, who was that?” Both end with a title card that reads “Call Me If You Get Lost” as barbershop quartet-style vocals and harmonies play.

Last week, eagle-eyed fans also noticed a mysterious billboard on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles with the phrase “Call Me If You Get Lost” on it. The billboard also displayed a Columbia records logo and a phone number. When dialed, a clip of an intimate conversation between Tyler and his mother plays.

Tyler could be teasing the follow-up to his acclaimed 2019 album Igor. Earlier this year, he dropped “Tell Me How,” a single previously featured in a Coca-Cola commercial, and collaborated with Brent Faiyaz on “Gravity.”
