Tyler, the Creator on A$AP Rocky joint effort: “That shit don’t exist”

Looks like ‘WANG$AP’ isn’t happening any time soon.

If you’ve been anxiously waiting for WANG$AP, the highly teased collaborative effort between Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Rocky, to arrive then we’ve got sad news: The project isn’t happening any time soon.

On Tuesday morning, Tyler took to Twitter to quash any speculation of a joint album with A$AP Rocky:

The tweet was in response to Rocky’s latest interview on The Angie Martinez Show, in which the Harlem native revealed he was working on new projects, including one with the Odd Future co-founder. “I’m working on my music right now. Working on another project. Working with my brother, Tyler, the Creator. His dumb ass,” he said with some affection.

This isn’t the first time Tyler has gotten publicly exasperated with Rocky. Last year, the Flower Boy rapper told fans to not “get [their] hopes up” after the pair’s video for their “Potato Salad” freestyle teased a WANG$AP collaboration.
