Tyler, the Creator-cosigned $ilkmoney drops debut solo project

More than half of the record was produced by the ‘Flower Boy’ rapper.

Richmond, Virginia rapper $ilkmoney has dropped his debut solo project. It’s titled—take a breath—I Hate My Life and I Really Wish People Would Stop Telling Me Not to.

Before you judge the book by its cover and dismiss it as emo rap that’s jumped the shark, know that five of the nine songs on the record were produced by Tyler, the Creator. He also appears on “Naga” and “Kitt-Katt.”

$ilkmoney, who hails from the Divine Council crew, has been grinding for a while now—Rolling Stone spotlighted as an artist to know in 2016. Will I Hate My Life help him break through? Stream the album below and let us know what you think.
