Tyler, the Creator announces new album, ‘IGOR’

The follow-up to 2017’s ‘Flower Boy’ drops next week.

Tyler, the Creator’s next studio album is on the horizon.

After dropping two cryptic teaser videos, “IGOR’S THEME” and “WHATSGOOD,” the past week, the rapper has taken to Twitter to announce his upcoming project, IGOR. The announcement arrived with the unveiling of two different artworks and a release date. According to Tyler, the second cover is a portrait by artist Lewis Rossignol.

IGOR is slated to drop next week on May 17 and is the follow-up to his Grammy-nominated 2017 album Flower Boy. The 28-year-old rapper wasn’t quiet in 2018 though: He dropped an EP inspired by The Grinch and numerous loosies like “PUFF,” “QUARTZ,” and “GELATO.”
